ETAM S.A. participated in the Information Day and the 3-day Regional Circular Economy Workshop held in Heraklion, Crete, from April 20 to 22, 2026, within the framework of the LIFE-IP CEI-Greece project. The event was co-organised by the Green Fund, the Hellenic Ministry of Environment and Energy, the Region of Crete, and the Cretan Waste Management Association (ESDAK).

On the second day of the workshop, focusing on “Circular Economy in the Agri-Food Sector in Crete,” ETAM S.A. was represented by Dr. Chrysa Pangalou, General Director of the company, who presented PROMOFER.

The presentation highlighted the role of the Project in promoting innovative circular economy solutions through the valorization of agri-food residues for the production of high value-added bioplastics. Most importantly, however, focus on the collaboration with HELLAΒIOM and more specifically on the green biomass collection points.

ETAM S.A.’s participation in the workshop contributed, among other things, to the dissemination of PROMOFER project results to a wide range of stakeholders, including representatives from the agri-food sector, industry, and local authorities.
