The 7th international exhibition Verde.tec / Environment Technologies took place on 21-23 February 2025 at the exhibition center MEC in Paiania. Innovative applications and technologies, best practices and solutions for a more sustainable future, have been in the spotlight for three days, impressing thousands of visitors – professionals and individuals from every region of the country – who had the opportunity to see them up close.
HELLABIOM actively participated in the exhibition through an exhibitor’s stand, promoting sustainable biomass valorization good practices in the fields of bioenergy and bioeconomy.
Information about the aims and progress of PROMOFER project was shared with the exhibition’s visitors both at the association’s stand and during the annual event Biomass Day 2025, at its 8th edition. The latter, having as main theme the modern applications of bioheat and pellets, was organized on Saturday 22nd February 2025 within the Verde.tec Forum side events and attracted the attention of HELLABIOM members and stakeholders. Dr Vassilios Filippou, CERTH Associate, made a brief presentation of PROMOFER for the production of bioplastics.
